SEMINAR DESCRIPTION:
Using Jesus' model with the woman at the well, this interactive workshop explores the role of active listening as we go and share, and the redeeming healing that listening affords people suffering from marginalization, loneliness, and depression. Suited for those who go, share, and care.
SPEAKER'S BIOGRAPHY:
Bill Strom wears two hats: one as Executive Director of Telecare Crisis & Caring Line (Abbotsford, BC), and the other as professor of communication at Trinity Western University (Langley). He has served on the phone line with Telecare since 2012, listening to people with every sort of hardship.
